THE JOURNEY
Deakin’s Waurn Ponds Campus strives to offer state-of-the-art and accessible facilities so we they can provide the best experience and services to their current and future students.
With an aged fitout Deakin undertook a significant internal upgrade to their building supporting specialised Arts and Education teaching facility at the Waurn Ponds Campus. Wishing to create a new style of premium collaborative learning spaces and industry-standard specialist teaching spaces.
THE SOLUTION
Wanting a fresh feel to enliven the space for the students, Deakin selected yellow and green as the colour theme.
They wanted a high quality, comfortable, cost effective task chair for the students, which needed to be easy to clean, with a long warranty and could be custom upholstered to suit the colour theme.
The solution proposed by Business Interiors was the Dauphin Speed-O chair with a membrane back. A high quality German made chair. Custom upholstered in their selection of yellow and green custom fabrics.
THE RESULT
The resulting space is fresh, youthful and ultimately a highly flexible space to allow the students and lecturers the best opportunity to collaborate and learn.
