With the aim of being recognised as the Asia Pacific region’s most successful logistics provider, connecting people and products.
Business Interiors is a long term trusted partner of Toll and has delivered a number successful office fitout projects.
CHALLENGE
To enable optimum staff collaboration, Toll wished to create an open plan environment in their Sydney office and depot. Allowing maximum flexibility in the floorplan to allow for future change and growth was also a consideration.
The completion of the office fitout (supply and installation) within a tight budget, while optimising quality and layout were very important. As was completing the project within the specified time frame with minimum staff disruption being key.
THE SOLUTION
Business Interiors consulted on the project providing space planning, furniture recommendations, supply and installation to suit Toll’s requirements. Looking at what an open plan office environment would mean for Toll, moving executive staff into more accessible open locations, while still providing them with solutions to privacy and acoustic issues using privacy screens, sectioned off areas and collaborative furniture.
Business Interiors increased the provision of meeting spaces through the provision of both formal meeting rooms, and collaborative pods for informal meetings and quiet space work areas.
Business Interiors provided a complete furniture, fixtures and equipment package including additional equipment such as whitegoods, whiteboards, noticeboards and waste bins making the move in process as seamless as possible for Toll.
THE RESULT
Toll and Business Interiors worked together to develop a realistic time frame around the fitout, hand over and move in schedule resulting in a successful and seamless completion of the project. Considerations around early delivery of the security office and control centre to minimise disruption of Toll’s day to day business activities were made.
Toll’s overall objectives were exceeded with the project being delivered on time, within budget and to a high quality standard.
